COVID-19 Contact Tracing Team in Meycauayan LGU

LGUs should identify the areas in the cities/municipalities that are still have a high risk of spreading COVID-19 to help them contain the virus.

In line with the DILG’s MC No 2020-073 on the conduct of expanded testing procedures, the team shall be headed by the Meycauayan PNP Chief of Police, to be assisted by the LGU’s City Health Officer.

Other members include, but are not limited to: the CDRRM Officer, duly assigned staff from the local police, CHO, bureau of fire protection, barangay health worker, BHERT member, and barangay public safety officer.

Functions include, but are not limited to: (1) cooperating with the DOH and all health personnel in carrying out interim guidelines for the conduct of expanded testing; (2) conduct contact tracing for persons with known exposure to a COVID-19 patient; (3) monitor the different status of COVID-19 cases; and (4) report to COVID-19 provincial and regional task forces daily.
