Education Program amidst Community Quarantine

LGUs can coordinate with the Department of Education and other educational institutions in creating education programs for students during the pandemic.

The LGU of Cauayan City has partnered with several offices including the DepEd, Teach for the Philippines, Rex Bookstore, etc. for its education program.

Called Bringing Education using Radio, Non-print and Automated Resources to the Diverse Learners or Project Bernard alternative methods of instruction will be offered to continue providing accessible education to local residents.

The education program to be funded through the city’s Special Education Fund.

The content and materials will be developed by teachers from DepEd and Teach for the Philippines and will be disseminated through various platforms such as radio, TV, and printed modules.
