Overview
The number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines continues to rise as countries around the world face the global pandemic. With community quarantine and other measures being implemented to halt virus spread and manage the condition of infected individuals, women are exposed to more risks due to gender gaps in different aspects; be it in domestic roles, health care system, decision-making, and many others. Still, we see Juanas show their resiliency, passion, creativity, and unconditional service to humanity during this fight against the coronavirus. To highlight these, the Philippine Commission on Women launched the online campaign Juana sa panahon ng Corona.
