LGUs can find innovative ways to brief opening establishments such as salons and barbershops to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Overview
In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, the LGU of San Fernando, Pampanga conducted demonstrations of infection control policies in salons and barbershops.
Representatives taught employees the proper way of attending to customers in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Policies that need to be observed by salons and barbershops include: physical distancing; using foot baths and disinfecting materials; regular temperature checks; wearing of PPEs; regular sanitation of stores; and alternative scheduling appointments.
